Tom Jackson grew up near Atlanta, the son of a commercial airline pilot and homemaker. His love for travel began as a youngster, flying all over the world with his parents and three sisters. Tom played college football at the University of Georgia, graduated in 1981 with a degree in business, and immediately began a successful career –- first in sales, then in the mortgage banking business and later in the European Auto Delivery industry, which helped satisfy his passion for travel.
In the 1980's, after Tom's parents retired to beautiful Hilton Head Island, Tom was offered a real estate sales position on exclusive Daufuskie Island. He has now spent nearly 20 years specializing in properties on Daufuskie and all over the Hilton Head area; he must be doing something right as he has racked up more than $450 million in sales. With his wife Tiphany and three children, he's traded the friendly skies for the satisfactions of a wonderful family life. His customers are also happy he's home.
