Esplanade
With the experience of myriad residential communities developed in nine states for more than a century, the builders Taylor Morrison set their sights on an 1,800-acre property near Naples filled with natural preserves, wetlands and more than 100 acres of lakes. The company’s master plan for Esplanade, located just east of Interstate 75, includes 1,121 homes and proximity to every conceivable service, including Naples’ famed shopping areas, medical facilities and the Gulf of Mexico. Inside the gates of Esplanade, residents will have plenty of reasons to stay put, including the recently opened championship golf course, one of the best new courses of 2014 according to Golf Digest, and multiple lighted Har-Tru tennis courts. The planned Wellness Center will contain 8,000 square feet and the most modern workout equipment anywhere, as well as “resort” style pools, a Tiki bar and bocce ball court. Taylor Morrison anticipates all amenities will be in by the end of 2016. Within a few years, a 15,000 square foot clubhouse will welcome resident members to full-service dining, social events and a lounge area, all with fabulous views out over the golf course and surrounding landscapes. The word “esplanade” means long, open area that people use for pleasure walking. Esplanade in Naples is a pleasure.
