Water is central to Wilmington, NC’s Landfall, a 2,000-acre community dotted with lakes and ponds and bordered by the Intracoastal Waterway and Howe Creek. For water with waves, Wrightsville Beach and its wide expanse of sand are just five minutes away. You’ll find plenty of golf inside the gates –- 45 holes of it by Jack Nicklaus (27) and Pete Dye (18). And for those who like their exercise at a more leisurely pace, the long and winding nature trail or a stroll around Landfall Lake beckons.  The town of Wilmington, with restaurants featuring a range of tastes from barbecue to French cuisine and a full roster of services, is just 10 minutes away.  The Wilmington branch of the University of North Carolina offers one of the most extensive lineup of continuing education courses.
