The colorful leaves in New England this time of year must have distracted me (yeah, right). I am a week behind in distributing our monthly free newsletter, Home On The Course. The payoff for our list of 1,000 readers (and growing), though, will be worth the wait as the issue that emails in the next day tackles everyone’s favorite topic -– scoring a bargain. As in equities investment, there are both value and growth plays in the golf development market, and the October Home On The Course takes a look at examples of both. For those with a more conservative approach to bargains, we highlight a few golf community homes that are for rent and compare them with those down the block that are for sale.
If you have been waiting for prices to hit their trough, your time may have come. Bargains abound in both “growth” and “value” communities.
Speaking of bargains, you won’t find a bigger bargain than Home On The Course. It is free, loaded with good, objective advice, and available monthly to your inbox. You can sign up at the top of this column. Enjoy.
